Above 6 GHz, exposure to radio equipment carried close to the body will be more localised at the surface of the skin and will no longer be assessed in terms of SAR but in terms of field intensity. This subject is being studied by the ANFR with the planned arrival of 5G, especially in the 26 GHz band.
