Cartoradio is a mapping tool used in France to locate the radioelectric antennas used by a large number of services (mobile phones, professional mobile radio networks, television, etc.) as well as the sites on which wave exposure measurements have been carried out by the ANFR.
In addition to location information, Cartoradio provides:
- for antennas, their height, operator, orientation and the type of support on which they are installed;
- for exposure measurements, summarised results that can be viewed on screen and detailed results that can be downloaded.
In addition, targeted searches are possible thanks to various sorting functions.
To identify the locations of the antennas and the sites on which measurements have been taken, users need only enter a city or town, an address or move the map background to a location of their choice.
Cartoradio uses the Geoportail tool from the National Institute of Geographic and Forestry Information (IGN).
