This committee was created by the so-called “Abeille” act, of 9 February 2015 on the sobriety, transparency, information and consultation on the exposure of the general public to electromagnetic waves.
Within the ANFR, this committee participates in the information of all stakeholders (non-profits, operators and manufacturers, local authorities and representatives of the administration), in particular on field levels in our environment and the concertation tools.
It is chaired by Michel Sauvade, the mayor of Marsac-en-Livradois.
This committee aspires to be a place for dialogue and positive discussions on the studies carried out or to be encouraged for the better understanding of exposure caused by antennas, connected objects and wireless terminals. Its vocation is not to cover health issues, which are the subject of studies and concertation by the ANSES.
It meets at least twice per year.
First meeting: 12 December at the ANFR.
